Buying our first house in Vancouver could have been a daunting task, but Ruthie truly turned it into an exciting experience we would happily do over again--though we won't part with our new gem anytime soon! We'd been searching for over three years until we enlisted Ruthie and within two short months, she found us a house that has thrilled us in every way. She has a talent for great design, fresh ideas and an eye for a good buy: a perfect combination. She's also exceptionally resourceful and found the house before it hit the market: we were somehow able to scoop it before anyone else--thus avoiding a buying frenzy. It all happened so fast that we later met people who told us they had seen the house when it appeared on the MLS--and much to their dismay--weren't able to view it because it had already been bought! Meanwhile, the other realtor was so impressed with Ruthie's presentation (and consequently shocked to learn she was a novice) and so both sides sailed through the negotiations with feelings of goodwill all around. A rare thing indeed; what a wonderful way to get our feet wet in this market. We now sit around our pool and muse about how lucky we are to have finally found such a stellar place to call home.
