This is the reinvention of a turn-of-the-century industrial building that will remain inextricably linked to Mount Pleasant and its classical Vancouver roots and aesthetic. Contemporary and efficient living, designed for the modern family. Modern meets heritage in these sleekly crafted and thoughtfully created homes. The building’s open and expansive spaces, high ceilings, and vast casement style windows harken back to the lofts and offices that were inhabited by generations of industrial businesses, starting with Turners Dairy. Now, a new generation of urban dwellers will create their own stories within these spaces.
13 townhomes, all unique in their own way will be available for purchase starting in April 2022, and the best part? They will be move in ready by Fall 2022. Over the next couple of months the incredible ETRO Construction team will be putting up the drywall, laying the flooring, and putting in all the finishing touches to these incredible homes.
Designed by Inge Roecker, founder of Air Studio, Turner’s can be seen as a reinvention of contemporary living that evokes the industrial aesthetic and commercial history of the community. Through the preservation of the historic building, Turner’s Dairy offers a sustainably designed and community conscious neighbourhood in a walkable yet densified pattern. The 13 townhouses are entered through a communal courtyard providing space for neighbourhood interactions, communal gatherings, and daily life.
